Kandle Book Light brilliant for bedtime reading March 10, 2010 Josef Bernhardt (Wellington,New Zealand) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The Kandle LED book light for eReaders is just brilliant (literally) - well designed, lightweight, attaches securely and casts a totally even light on the reading screen with absolutely no glare or hotspot reflections.
I had tried a couple of other book lights with my EZ Reader without much success because they were wobbly and had a focused spotlight effect instead a smooth even reading light.
The Kandle booklight is perfect in providing an eye-strain free reading experience with very adequate lighting from a firmly attached light which clips on to eReaders with a wide scratch-proof clamp. Just clip it on and get lost in your current book on your eReader.
I totally recommend this book light, a great accessory for eReader owners.

I love this light!!! March 8, 2010 Sheri James (Midland, Tx) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I just got mine the other day, and I love it!! It comes with 2 extra button-type batteries and it clips right to the Kindle! I'm SO glad i bought this one and not one that has the adjustable necks....
grammatt March 8, 2010 Theresa L. Mechur (Orange County, Ca) I enjoy the Kandle when it works. It appears to have some sort of short in it. I thought that it might be the batteries so I changed them to new ones and it still didn't work
Best light for Kindle, but... March 7, 2010 Prometheus 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
The Kandle is the best light for Kindle, but there are a few significant problems with it:
1. It doesn't attach very securely to the Kindle. You can see in the video review currently posted that it slips at one point and the woman has to reposition it. This should have been fixed by the simple addition of a lip along the inside front of the clip. Bad design.
2. The light does not illuminate the Kindle screen evenly. This can also be seen from the video review. At one point you can see glare at the top (even though the reviewer says there isn't any).
3. Excess light spills out especially onto the clip itself. How difficult could it be to install a reflective surface around the light to deflect light from the areas where we don't need light and instead focus it towards the low-light areas of the screen? Again, poor design leads to this product failing to be all it could be.
KindleKandle March 6, 2010 Ron Shenker (Grants Pass, OR) I like this light very much.
It's compact, lightweight, came with extra batteries, clips on solidly, padded clip.
The only negative I see is that, the light doesn't quite illuminate the lower portion of the Kindle screen as brightly as I would like. It's not too bad but it could be better, a slight design flaw.
Except for that issue and a little high priced its a good product I would recommend.
